Things seem to be working well for Primož Roglič after he met a tragic crash at Tour de France 2022, which left him with a dislocated shoulder. Although he continued to participate in the event for 9 more days, he had to call it quits to make a sound recovery.

There hasn’t been much hustle about his recovery, but ever since the Jumbo-Visma star was seen on the bike again, people have started to talk. With just two weeks left for the Vuelta a España, everyone is speculating about the reasons for him to be at the training center. Although the team has not yet decided whether they are taking the Slovenian on board or not, they want to properly asses Roglič’s condition before making any decision. Their statement read:

A decision is not made yet. [We’re] waiting on the way and speed of Primož’s recovery

Roglič suffered from the most horrible back pain following the crash, where every pedal stroke felt like someone had stabbed him with a knife in his back. But fans were particularly happy to see him on his bike again in a post that he made on his Instagram that read:

A classic good morning photo when you are finally back on the road

We will have to wait some more to see how things turn out for Primož Roglič. If everything goes well, chances are he might be seen alongside Robert Gesink,  Sepp Kuss, and Rohan Dennis.
