If you love bicycles and just anything related to bikes, then you might have heard about the MADE Show. We discussed before that if you have handmade bikes to show off then the perfect venue for that is the MADE Show which is taking place in Portland, Oregon. We loved the first show and can’t wait to go back for more, and we also think that you are going to love the limited edition “SPLASH” from Chris King Components.
We honestly think that it looks amazing, but it will also do its part in enhancing the performance of your bike. So, how does the SPLASH look? It has a bronze color base and is splashed with the classic Chris King turquoise, hence the name “SPLASH”.
In case you were wondering, the whole run of this color will only be 50 complete kits, the company will only cater on a first come first serve basis. What will these kits include? As announced by Chris King components before, this kit will include a headset, bottom bracket, and King wheels. All of these components will have configurations for every type of bike, which includes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and road bikes.
We can see that a lot has gone into the design of this kit, they certainly took their time and produced a masterpiece. Chris King’s Design Manager, Jay Sycip had this to say:
The inaugural MADE show is here in Portland, so we just had to do something special, something we hadn’t done before, and that was the motivation for Splash. It will be both a component finish and a soft goods collection. There will be a LOT of King components and wheels on bikes all around the show. For us, it’s like a homecoming.
