Vision Team Review
Many people instantly discredit the Vision Team series due to the weight. Its lightest option clocks in at around 1800g which is really nothing to sneeze at. Therefore, it is easy to see why it could be considered almost laughable that these could be race material, even at an entry level position.
This was the impression I was under as well until I actually gave them a try. Once you set off, you realize that the weight really does not have an impact on your actual speed. You never feel as though you have to pedal harder just to get ahead. As you can imagine, however, at this weight these really aren’t climbers unless you want to expend a bit more effort. They are also not great if you are trying to accelerate from a stop.
One other thing that I noticed was the level of comfort that I experienced. It really did offer more cushiness than many of the other, better wheelsets that I had tried out. This is helped by the fact that the wheelset has somewhat of a wider rim than other choices.
I was curious about just how much the Vision Team could withstand which is why I continued with them for a couple of months. Even through bad weather, I never had negative experiences with this wheelset. I would recommend it for rain as well as drier climes. Also, even with some rougher terrain, there really was no sign of damage or scratches on the wheelset.

The Verdict
Vision Team is definitely worth a shot if you are looking for both performances as well as comfort.
There are plenty of benefits and only a few disadvantages to riding on this wheelset.
