Trek Cali Review
When we took a look at the gorgeous hardtail that is the Trek Cali, we were surprised by the value for money that we noticed. It is a very stylish bike, looking just wonderful in every aspect while maintaining good levels of fit as well.
The new Cali is a little lighter than its predecessor, although not by much. The fork of the bike is a RockShox 30 that has a WSD Rider Right spring in it to give the bike 100mm of travel instead of only 80mm. While an air fork would have been even better, the extra travel distance was a welcome addition to the Cali.
In addition to this, the handlebar is nice and wide while the grips are slender enough to give a rider a lot of control over the motion of the bike. We also loved the saddle, which was obviously padded with a woman’s body in mind – not too squishy but not too hard either. We were able to go on a wide range of trails with ease and finesse on the Cali.
- Highly versatile
- Looks amazing
- Built for women
- Great fork with extra travel
- Good bars and grips

The Trek Cali is a woman-friendly bike that has been made to be a multi-tool for a variety of trails. It manages to do this very well indeed!
We had a blast on the Trek Cali, and can’t wait to see what else Trek has in store for us to review. In the meanwhile, we recommend this one to any lady looking for the perfect trail bike!
