One of the perks of a Santa Cruz Bronson is that it is much like riding an all-in-one mountain bicycle. For the most part, this is the concept with this bike. This concept is brought to life as you ride the Bronson.

As with most Santa Cruz bikes, the physical appearance runs the gamut from somber to more flashy colors. Therefore, it is up to you if you want to remain off the radar or if you plan on getting some attention.

We’d heard some good things about the Bronson so we decided to skip the easy trails and head straight for the monsters. While it has been set firmly in the all mountain category, this bike handles itself extremely well. It endures whatever that you throw at it, which definitely earned our respect.

In addition to its durability, the Bronson’s handling is also quite noteworthy. We found it staying the course and only required a little bit of a reminder whenever we headed into a tricky spot. The steering, too, was quite wonderful.

Another great surprise was that heading both up and down mountains were equally satisfactory. The Bronson easily scaled up and slid down in equal measure. This, too, is quite unusual and was a fun little surprise. Overall, the Bronson will give you no cause for pause regardless of the trail that you have opted for. Of course, as it is not a strictly enduro bike, caution should be exercised if you want it to remain standing.

Yes, the price is a little daunting. However, if you do not want a specific bike when it comes to mountain biking but still require something credible, this is the bike for you. It won’t let you down.
