GT Slammer Review
GT Slammer is one of the most solid BMX bike models one can own. It became quite evident as we were reviewing. Looks wise, there’s hardly any competition in this category to go up against this model. The designs are sleek and quite colorful. We took this bike model out for a spin (literally) in the great outdoors.
This bike model certainly surpasses its looks in performance. It looks like a pro bike, and works like one too. It can speed aggressively, and is nimble enough to navigate. It can thoroughly handle shocks, turns and other abuse you can think of to throw at it. This is a highly technique driven bike, so it may not be suitable for beginner riders.
If you are looking to improve your freestyle skills, you don’t need to look any further. It has a and an American bottom bracket, a down tube gusset and a frame with a steel tube to ensure reliability. The steel fork is two piece and has tapered legs so you are comfortable during your spins and twirls.
This bike model is ideal to withstand impact. We particularly loved the sturdy, no-slip pedal. The Innova tires are good, but won’t last as long as intended.
- Aesthetically pleasing looks
- Top performance
- Handles impact very well
- Good pedals
- Tires could last longer
- Can be expensive
