Cube Elite Review
Cube Elite is an exclusively high-end bike model. So if you are a beginner or even a semi-pro, you won’t be able to benefit from all the cool specs this model offers. According to the brand, this is the world’s lighters hardtail racer. We reviewed the model to see if these claims were true.
We have to say that the 29er framer of the Elite is quite lightweight. As to say if it’s the world’s lightest, we have no idea. However, the light frame is capable of gaining incredible speeds. Accelerating on this bike is cake. We were stunned out of our minds by the top-notch performance Elite offered.
This model has high potential thanks to the carbon frame made with advanced twin mould tech. This particular design gives the rider maximum control. (Plus, the frame comes in a delightful light blue and green combination). The frame is light, and also stiff. The oversized tapered head tube contributes to this.
Standout specs include Shimano XT disc brake system and Fulcrum Red 44 wheels, which are light and also very sturdy. This bike offers wonderful control on long race tracks. However, tracks with varying elevation levels can be a bit of a challenge to handle.
- Top-grade specs
- Lightweight but stiff frame
- Sturdy tires
- Superior design
- Not suitable for beginners or semi-pros
- Not good on tracks with varying elevation
Cube Elite is one of the best racing bikes a pro can own. The ergonomic design ensures top speeds and superior comfort on even the toughest of trails.
If you are looking for a dreamy hard tail racing bike, Cube Elite will meet your high expectations. These bikes are as good as any to hit the race track with.
