The Fuji Sportif is one of those bikes that is good for a number of things. This is what makes it such an admirable road bike. While it is not particularly slender, the Sportif cannot really be considered heavy either. Instead, it is one of those bikes that will ensure that you will not be tired out, even after a considerable amount of riding.

One of the first things that we noticed about the Sportif is that it offers you quite the smooth ride. The frame is firm, the fork absorbs impact and the braking motion quite well. While it is not suited to anything too rough, you do not have to worry about hitting potholes on your daily commute. The Sportif will be able to deal with these quite well.

One thing you should know about the Sportif is that although it is quite capable, it is not the fastest bike around. However, because of the overall pleasing performance, this did not bother us too much. You may not win any races, but the Sportif will certainly get you where you need to go. At the end of the day, there is really nothing more that you can ask from this bike.

Since it performed so well on the road, we decided to head to somewhere with a few more hills. For the most part, the gears on the Sportif helped us to maneuver the inclines without too much trouble. Since the bike is not too heavy, we didn’t even find ourselves straining when headed uphill.

Finally, what we really liked about the Fuji Sportif was that it really was quite comfortable in terms of seating. You can ride this bike for a long time and not have to suffer from any soreness. This makes it perfect for your daily commute.
