Wilier GTR Review
The Wilier GTR was one of our favorite bikes to date. Made like an Italian racehorse, this passionately produced beauty is one of the things that remind us why we love to cycle so much. It was comfortable, fast and very fancy indeed.
There are two main options available to the rider – the GTR Team and the standard GTR, as well as one with disc brakes. The frame and the fork of the bike weighed less than 2kg together, which more than proved to us that the bike meant business in terms of speed.
The frame looks beautiful except for the number of annoying decals and wording all down the tubes, which was a little off-putting when all one wants is a clean, elegant, classy ride. The components were beautiful too – Shimano Ultegra cranks, Mavic wheels, and a Selle San Marco Aspide saddle that is one of the most comfortable out there.
We experienced little to no choppiness during our ride, and were able to ride the racer without feeling like it was made just for professionals.

A bike that is made for the high end racer in you, the Wilier GTR is perfect for anyone with some money to spend and a passion for riding good bikes.
We fell in love with the Wilier GTR while reviewing it. It isn’t often one comes across such a well-rounded bike. It is definitely one worth checking out!
