Cube Axial Review
The Cube brand has long since earned its reputation as a good bike manufacturer, particularly when it comes to mountain bikes. With the Axial range, they have tried their hand at something new – producing bikes that are tailored to women.
The Cube Axial really does hit the spot. First off, it is the perfect fit for smaller frames, including shorter arms. The handlebars are set at a distance, that means that you do not have to stretch out your arms uncomfortably. This way, you don’t have to worry about being in a painful position for long periods of time anymore. Also, this bike is a comfortable ride partly due to the seat and partly due to the incredible set of Schwalbe Ultremo tyres.
Of course, what you really want to know is what it feels out on the road. There are definitely no complaints here. This is a bike that you will not have to worry about racing on – its lightweight frame and wheels will have you easily overtaking your competitors. Where the Axial really shines, however, is on hills and slopes. The uphill effort is quite good but it is the downhill ride that really hits the spot.
The sheer comfort afforded by the Axial means that you are not about to get tired of it too soon. This makes it perfect for those really long rides and you don’t even have to worry about uneven terrain.

The Cube Axial may not be the cheapest bike of its kind but it is kind of hard to argue with the price when you see all the features. In particular, it is how comfortable this bike is. If you are the type of person that likes spending a considerable amount of time on their bike, this is the one for you.
