A road bike that is said to have the luck of the irish; the Vitus Venon is a bike that is built for the streets and manages to outperform every other bike in its class. The best part? It does it for half the price and twice the awesomeness.
Vitus Venon Review
The Vitus Venon is a bike that we immediately fell in love with. We didn’t even have to get it fit professionally when we wanted to get it reviewed.
The components were stellar for the price of the bike, with 22-speed Shimano 105 groupset, including the absolutely wonderful SLREV braking system paired with Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. The tires are GS Continentals (25mm), and are more than capable of chewing up the miles without showing any wear and tear whatsoever.
The head tube, we noticed, was pretty low, and the seat tube was actually on the steep side. This led to the impression that the bike is intended for the more focused riders out there, especially as this leads to a racier seating position with a ton of control for the twists and turns of the road.
Overall, the bike actually delivered exactly what was promised and more – it gave us speed and comfort in a beautiful little package without any extra mess on the outside.
A neat, versatile machine that made us happy, although we would have been happier if the wheels had been lighter in order to increase the acceleration and speed.
- Fast ride
- Amazing components
- Lovely design
- Great brakes
- Wheels are a little too heavy
A road bike that more than delivers the promised speed and performance with very few issues. A wonderful ride for anyone with a passion for speed and comfort.
We absolutely adored the Vitus Venon, and thought it was one of the best bikes to ever have passed through our hands. It was an absolute pleasure reviewing it, and we can’t wait to see more in the future!
