Trek Lush Review

Trek has been around since the 70s, having been one of the technological pioneering forces in the industry, and producing some competition-winning bikes. The Trek Lush series was designed especially for women with some high quality specs at a midrange price tag.

These bikes come with quality Shimano Deore componentry, a comfortable finishing kit, and well-suited combinations of monarch shocks and maxle forks for full suspension. We hit some of the roughest trails we knew to test these out, and they delivered with buttery smoothness!

The bars are nice and narrow, so the smallest of our reviewers were the most pleased. The only issue was the weight, although this is only because of the wheelset, and most riders should be able to manage. If you like a lot of travel, 120mm will not satisfy you.

+Pros:

  • Great control
  • Comfortable finishing kit
  • Excellent vibration damping
  • Stable and smooth handling
  • Powerful riding

-Cons:

  • 120mm may not be enough travel for some riders
  • Might be a bit on the heavy side

The Verdict

A little on the pricy side, but an ideal all-rounder for women riders who want to hit the roughest of mountain trails.

The Trek Lush bikes are just short of perfect for women, offering well balanced, smooth rides, with some choice componentry and construction. If you don’t mind the slightly excessive weight and the somewhat limited travel, you’ll love these bikes as much as we did.
