Sensa Giulia Review

For over two decades, Sensa has been making the bike scene rock back on its heels in wonder, and the Sensa Giulia is the newest way for the company to do just that. One of the first things we noticed about the design of this bike was that it was clean.

The cables were all internally routed and very streamlined indeed. In addition to this, the bike had a lot of curves and blended angles instead of looking sharp and out of place. We also really loved the transmission system – a Shimano Ultegra 11 speed setup that more than did its job of providing a smooth, efficient and powerful ride.

In addition to this, we noticed that the drivetrain was built for speed rather than pure power, which meant that the bike didn’t perform all that well on hills and steeper climbs. It more than made up for this by being godly on the road, though. Overall, we felt that the Giulia is a great bike at an even greater price.

+Pros:

  • Great frame design
  • Amazing components and transmission
  • Very fast indeed
  • Smooth, streamlined appearance

-Cons:

  • Doesn’t do so well on hills

The Verdict

The Giulia is a bike that is bound to outperform just about every other bike in its class as long as it isn’t on a hilly road. Take it out on the straights and you’ll have an experience like no other.

We loved the Sensa Giulia, and it served us really well on the straights. We enjoyed taking it for its review rides, and thought that it might actually be one of the better bikes for its range out there.
