Pinnacle Aspen Review

Pinnacle Aspen is a bike model for children. This isn’t necessary a training model, and will suit elementary schoolers who are ready to try more challenging cycling levels. This bike is intended from kids 7 and up. So we hired a group of little cyclists to review the model for us.

The Aspen bikes are designed with heat-treated alloy frames, which are really sturdy. Most bikes in this model have multi-speed hubs and derailleur setups. The bikes have gears ranging from 25 to 63 inches, which is suitable for general riding. For the most part, the bike is designed to be use for small hands to handle. If you have ever trained a child, you know they never stop in the right gear. This bike is designed with that in mind, which parents can really appreciate.

The bikes have sturdy wheelsets with stainless steel spokes and Alex rims. The tires for the model come with block patterns that roll easy on most surfaces. But the tires are not so great on muddy surfaces. The tires also have big air chambers, which makes rides smooth and relatively bump free. Most of our reviewers claimed that these bikes were fun and comfortable to ride.

Parents can also definitely appreciate the fact that these bikes are equipped with Tektro V-brakes that are powerful and have handles designed for kid hands. The bikes also have comfy kiddie saddles and rubber grips. The model also comes in many colorful frames that kids can love.

+Pros:

  • Powerful brakes
  • Designed with small hands and feet in mind
  • Easy roll tires
  • Colorful frames kids will love

-Cons:

  • Tires are not suitable for muddy terrain

The Verdict

Design wise, Pinnacle Aspen is deceptively simple. For a kiddie bike, it comes with many high-end components. These bikes are made with kids in mind and have many perks that parents can appreciate. The bikes also have reliable and powerful brakes. The kids will definitely love the fun colors as well.
