Giant Defy Review
The one thing that we have come to expect from Giant is a great bike no matter the price range. For the most part, Giant has been happy to oblige. The company does so again with the Defy. While this may not be the cheapest option on the market, the specs and components make this price quite worth it.
Depending on how you to decide to construct the bike, you should be ending up around 9 kilos with the Defy. Which really is not too bad considering all of the aluminum components in play. Satisfied with the overall structure of the bike, we took off. One thing we were not expecting was the speed that the Defy is capable of reaching. With just a little bit of effort we were flying and we sure that we were not even testing the limits of the bike.
The other thing that we noticed was that the ride was also quite comfortable. This, of course, has been purposefully orchestrated by Giant. You can hit up some pretty uneven road and you will barely feel. Best of all, the bike will not bear the scars of the trial either.
The Giant Defy is not really meant to be a climber. However, with the gears available and the light weight, this bike will get up most inclines without a fuss. This is great as it means that we were not restricted in just how many destinations that we could access with the Defy.
If you do not mind spending a little extra, the Giant Defy is a great and durable bike to have in your collection. It feels as though it will stand the test of time.

The Verdict
The Giant Defy performs beautifully, offering both speed, precision, and durability. It is a lot of fun to ride.
If you value performance and comfort, then the Giant Defy is certainly the bike for you. It will be a valuable asset to you.
