Ghost Nivolet Review

The Ghost Nivolet looks like a compact little road and indeed, it is. Nonetheless, there is so much more going on beneath the surface as we soon found out. One of the first things that we were quite thrilled with was the overall weight of the bike. This meant that it was not limited to being just a road bike.

Once we began our little test journey, we soon realized that we were right. Although it claims to be a road bike, this is a fast machine. We found ourselves accelerating almost from nothing to a considerable speed. When you are expecting a road bike, this really is a nice surprise.

Furthermore, it was also a comfortable ride. You can relax on this bike so that you do not feel as though you are constantly in a race. This means that you will find yourself being able to ride this bike for longer periods of time.

Due to the sprightliness of the bike and its many gears, we decided what this bike would be like on a hillier area. True to form, the Nivolet obliged. We were able to speed up the incline and down the hill with no fuss at all. While there seems to be no spare weight on the frame, there is a remarkable amount of firmness. As such, you do not have to be worried about being thrown about. This is a great option for those who encounter slopes on a daily basis.

Overall, if you can overlook the price that comes attached with this bike, you will be very happy. The many different features of this bike come together remarkably well, making for a reliable ride.

+Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Compact frame
  • Lightweight
  • Good handling
  • Handles slopes well
  • Fast

-Cons:

  • Expensive

The Verdict

The Ghost Nivolet is a great road bike that serves a multitude of functions. It is also quite durable.

The Ghost Nivolet may require somewhat of an investment. If you are a serious cyclist, however, this is a machine that you really cannot afford to turn away.
