Fast Forward F6R Review
There is not much need to introduce Fast Forward. This company has helped some of the finest cyclist win really big races. This is just one of the reasons that we were quite so excited to get our hands on the F6R and take it for a spin. Now, you should be aware that this is not the cheapest clincher wheelset that you can find. With just one look, however, you just know you are making a good investment.
The stiffness and the weight of the F6R mean that there is no hesitation once you take off. This, in turn, makes acceleration an absolute breeze. Another thing that we collectively noticed was that the faster you went with the F6R, the better that it performed! A definite highlight if you are looking to race with this wheelset.
Another thing that we would be remiss to not mention is the brake track on the F6R. It works like an absolute charm. On top of this, it also proves to be quite resilient in wet weather as well. Even with the rain, it stopped on a dime. Speaking of bad weather, however, it is worth noting that this wheelset does not fare so well when it gets really windy. You can expect a bit of a wobble every now and then. So if you are looking for uninterrupted performance, it is best to stick with weather conditions with as little wind as possible.
Another in the win column for the F6R is that it is relatively easy to maintain. You will not have to worry about punctures all that often. That being said, you should know that this is not the hardiest of wheelsets and will get damaged.

The Verdict
The Fast Forward F6R is as good as it gets for races, particularly the long ones. It is fast and reliable.
Though you may have to spend quite a bit on the F6R, you will be able to reap this back in performance.
