Cannondale Jekyll Review

The frame of the Cannondale Jekyll is made to take the most use out of the gorgeous components in the front and the rear of the bike. The fork in the front is the Lefty Supermax, and it is one of the most unique bits of gear that we have seen to date.

The back is the property of the Dyad damping system, another proprietary piece of awesomeness that has been developed with Fox Racing. The Jekyll has a nice slack angle of the head, a bottom bracket that is very low, and a very detailed design indeed.

The Dyad is one of the high points of this bike, with dual suspension systems built into it – 95mm and 160mm of travel at the same time. It doesn’t work in the same way that typical suspension systems work either – reverse suspension makes riding the Jekyll a pleasure. We absolutely loved the Jekyll and its two-faced personality!

+Pros:

  • Gorgeous frame design
  • Handles like a charm
  • Super comfortable
  • Dyad and Lefty suspension and forks are amazing together
  • Detailed design
  • Very versatile
  • Great components and gearing

-Cons:

  • Definitely not a beginner bike (is this a con?)

The Verdict

The Cannondale Jekyll is a bike that gives you the best of both worlds at the same time – providing you with the fastest, most efficient ride while keeping you in comfort throughout.

There was nothing we could really find wrong with the Cannondale Jekyll. It is a bike that is made to be all kinds of wonderful, and we had the best time ever testing it out.
