Blank Media Review

Blank Media is often confused with Blank Ammo, the alternative BMX bike from the same brand. Ammo was well noted for it’s shorter toptube that makes maneuvering easier than usual. Blank Media has a top tube of 20.6 inches, which is right on the short end of industry standards. That means this bike range is also quite short. We found out that short bikes have their perks when reviewing this range.

This range has 3 piece chromoly cranks, fully sealed BB, hubs and a top load stem. This design is perfect for people with shorter frames. We admit that all the reviewers who tried this bike are adults. When we started riding, we realized that this BMX bike is well suited for teens with smaller frames and lighter weights.

The short frames of these bikes offer better navigation. Even the trickiest bends are easy to handle for this bike range. What it offers in maneuverability, it lacks in speed. But if you are giving one these bikes to a teen, you might prefer it that way. We liked the comfortable Blank combo seat, but we thought the wheels, which have alloy rims, could be sturdier.

+Pros:

  • Good for teens or smaller riders
  • Excellent navigational capabilities
  • Short toptube

-Cons:

  • Limited speeds
  • Tires could last longer
  • Not the best for adult riders with larger builds

The Verdict

Blank Media is an excellent bike model for those cyclists who are rarely served in this market: short people and teens.

We recommend Blank Media because of the superior maneuverability capabilities that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s perfect for cities. If you are an entry-level rider, you will find confidence with this bike model.
